[link] Anubis, originally the god of all things relating to death, had to step aside when Osiris became popular, so he lost his God of Death status. However, Anubis retained his connection to mummification and the action of dying, and so he was still a hugely popular god. He was also in charge of determining who got in to Aaru (Egyptian heaven). |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
